5 、在个人资料里，哪些信息是公开的？
除了 E-Mail 外，您个人资料中所有其他信息都是公开的，只要您填写，所有Skype用户都可以看到。Email 在发送到网络之前已经进行了加密，所以其他用户在搜索联系人的时候看不到您的 Email 地址。不过如果有人知道您完整的邮件地址的话，可以在目录中搜索到您。

6 、我可以删除我的公开的个人信息吗？
除了 skype 帐号外，所有个人资料都是可以修改的，因为这些个人资料并没有存放在服务器上，而是存在个人电脑里。您存在网络上的个人资料在您最后一次使用 skype 的 72 小时内就会完全被删除，其他人从此也无法查询到你。

7 、注册邮箱与个人资料中的邮箱有什么区别？
“注册邮箱”是您在注册skype帐号时，填入的邮箱，此邮箱一定要填写正确，因为忘记密码时，您可以使用此邮箱找回密码。而个人资料中填入的邮箱只是您的一种联系方式，如果有人知道此邮件地址，可以在目录中搜索到您。

skype查找好友时，好友信息是随机显示的，点击“查找”可以看到部分好友，继续点击“查找”，就可以看到更多的好友了。

10 、为什么我明知道对方在线，看到的却是不在线？
因为Skype 的用户信息不是集中式存贮的，所以您的朋友从登陆到可见可能会有短暂的延时。您可以直接呼叫对方或给对方送条即时消息，这样可以减少此延时，同时，我们也正在努力解决这个延迟问题。另外请注意，如果对方设置的在线状态为隐身，也会显示为不在线。

11 、注册某一用户名，系统提示该用户名已存在，但搜索时，提示该用户名不存在？
凡是超过三天没有登陆过的用户，您在查找好友的时候便没有办法搜索到，但是该用户却实已经注册并存在。出现这种情况主要是由于Skype 有一个称为 “ 全球搜索目录 ” 的索引，该索引只保留三天内登陆过的活跃用户，如果某一用户名三天内没有被登陆过，就不会存在该索引中，从而不能被其他人搜索到。但是下次登陆后会重新进入到全球搜索目录的索引中，就可以被其他人搜索到了。

12 、好友为什么都不见了，我还有没有办法和我的好友沟通？
如果您使用的是Skype1.2以下版本，那么，当您在不同的电脑上登录或者重新安装操作系统后，好友就会消失，因为Skype1.2以下版本的好友列表是存在本机的，而 Skype1.2以上版本（包括1.2）的好友列表是存在存在服务器上的，无论您走到哪里，好友都不会丢失。所以建议您升级到最新版本。
如果您丢失了好友信息，并且原先设置的是仅允许您的好友列表上的用户和您联系，那么您可以将设置改为允许您已授权的好友（通过验证）联系您，直到恢复了所有的好友信息。

13 、 Skype为什么不支持 Windows 98/me 及 windows NT 操作系统？
由于 win98 与 ME 操作系统在程序设计时并没有完整支持 Unicode （统一的字符编码标准）显示，所以会造成在传输 IM 时某些语系的字型无法在双方电脑上正常显示。另外，由于某些极少数过于老旧的声卡及其驱动程序会造成电脑 CPU 占用率过高，而让Skype 无法顺利传送语音，还有一些 WinME/9x 的驱动程序有时会导致 CPU100% 占用，因此严重影响音频质量。所以我们並未将 Win98/ME 列为标准Skype 操作平台。
Skype 目前也不支持 Win NT 平台。支持以上所述平台之Skype 版本也会在以后推出，并公告在网站上。请密切注意Skype 网站。

14 、如果必须使用 windows98 的操作系统，是不是就无法使用 Skype了？
